So I posted on Facebook that I saw a job opening in NYC this evening that I was considering. This post isn’t about the job though, it’s about me and what comes to mind when I think city and maybe living in one.

I worked in NYC, but I didn't actually live in the city -- I know lots of folks who work in Dallas, but they don't actually live in Dallas --- so am wondering about your thoughts on the subject.

Well, I don't know that I necessarily meant literally living in the the city but I don't know that I meant living nearby either. Being closer, working in the city is still a whole lot different than where I'm at. I guess the way I'm looking at it is that I'm not as opposed to the idea of being more in the city atmosphere overall as I used to be. I'm not sure if this is what you're wanting. It's hard to find a way to describe my mentality on it. I guess really I'm saying I could live with myself in or just as well nearby. And I still don't know exactly how either living option would affect who I am without really being in the situation. Not sure if that clarifies or answers what you're asking?
