So I thought that now that I've gotten some of the details squared away, I thought I would share my news. It's probably not that exciting, but it is to me so I'm sharing anyway.
Well while I was waiting around "not making things happen," I was offered a merchandise role through the DCP (Disney College Program). I'm pretty excited about this because I was NLIC'd (No Longer In Consideration) the first two times I applied. 3rd times a charm after all. I've paid my expensive fees and chosen my arrival and departure dates (8/4/14-1/7/15). This means several beautiful, busy months in the Sunshine State. Still have to choose housing and such, but that shouldn't be too strenuous.
However, I am still waiting to hear back on a couple of the Disney Professional Internships I applied to, so that would override the DCP should I be lucky enough to receive an offer there.
This also means being behind on NASCAR things, I will do my best to keep up, but I cannot make any guarantees on chat room logs or videos or even getting to watch/record the races. However, we will see once I get closer, used to the work, et cetera...
Alright, I guess that's it for now. I don't mean to barge on anyone else's successes or happiness, but I'm pretty excited so I couldn't help but share. Hope things are working out for everyone else!!!!
Now back to my regularly scheduled (boring) homework.
