Well another year gone; another year full of ups and downs, surprises and regrets, moments of happiness and disappointment… I will not go into everything, because I think I have pretty much said everything in my blogs/poems/pictures throughout the year.
I will however start out by saying that this will likely be the last blog post I ever write here. I have learned the past couple years that as much as it’s nice that I am able to express myself through these posts that too many complain that they don’t care about other’s lives even though I think that’s kind of the point of the social media outlets. Sure they also can be used for networking and I think that’s what I shall use mine from now on. I will do my best to keep my own personal opinion to myself. I should have learned that a long time ago.
Looking ahead to next year, I know that because I will be finishing up this last class for this degree which will mean that it will be time for me to get on with my life. This means no more Facebook games. I should never have started them up again as it was. I will be getting a job and working, a lot. There will be very little time for anything including NASCAR I’m afraid. It’s very unlikely that I will get a job with any relevance to the sport so I will likely not be in the chat rooms or the hangouts. I may never get to another race and will rarely ever get to watch a race. This means I will not be a source of information; not that I really ever was. I mean I still count with the past drivers instead of newer ones more often than not(ex: Steve Park(1), Rusty Wallace(2), Dale Earnhardt(3), Mike Skinner(4), Terry Labonte(5), Mark Martin(6), et cetera…). (And yes I know Skinner was not in that car long, but that’s how I remember it.) I use to know them like that and I knew the car make, the major sponsors, the owners, and the crew chiefs. I can hardly keep up now. I missed a couple years in there and everything changed and I have been behind ever since.
Anyway, I shall do my best to fit in as much as of the things I love as much as I can. I will do my best to keep up with racing for the sake of my JTGD/Bobby peeps(though I’m not sure I can make any promises on that; not sure enough care) and for the TMSFanCrew.
Well I guess that’s really about it. Umm, if you have questions or want to comment or something feel free to do so. I plan on getting one last poem up before the end of the year and then that will likely be the end of that as well. I wish you all the best of everything!
