Okay so I may get some backlash on this, but I’m tired of sitting here not saying anything when everyone else is busy saying what they want.

We are taught to be true to ourselves, unless it’s to be something ‘unacceptable’ or ‘weird’ or ‘strange’ or ‘not right’. We want everyone to be different and yet we don’t. We don’t want everyone to be different. We want them all to fit into this ‘perfect’ bubble and if they don’t, then it’s not acceptable and they’re labeled and judged and punished for being themselves. Everyone seems to have this idea of the perfect person whether it is gender, race, age, sexual orientation, religion, spoken language, body type, mental state, et cetera and it is so wrong.
As far as this whole transgender bathroom problem though, I just don’t get it. Aren’t they (being the transgendered) more likely to be victimized here versus the ‘normal’ people using the bathroom? We are always so worried about ourselves and what is ‘normal’ for us, that we tend not to put ourselves in others’ shoes. I don’t even know how this even came to be an issue in the first place. We’re all human. We’re all made up of the same stardust material. We may act a little differently, look a little different, think a little different, but really we’re essentially the same.
So I guess I don’t understand why there have to be set rules for who can or cannot use which bathroom. Shouldn’t we simply be taught to respect others and their privacy? Do we really have to know which ‘gender’ each person claims themselves to be? I understand the sentiment of not wanting the other gender posing as the other gender to victimize others, but don’t those predators generally not care and they’ll do what they want anyway?
We’re so busy trying to separate everyone into groups that we’re simply going back to our segregation ways and it’s a scary thought. Are we so involved in ourselves that we’re going to allow ourselves to repeat this terrible history over and over and over again? Will we ever learn that what matters is how we treat others and that should be with kindness and consideration and respect and love? Who cares what ‘color’ you are, what ‘gender’ you are, what ‘age’ you are, what ‘religion’ you follow, what ‘language’ you speak, what you ‘look’ like, et cetera?
Can’t you see that it’s not about our differences? This is what our enemies want it to be. They want to see us turn on each other. They’re winning. Don’t let them win. Make a stand for humanity. If we lose that, it’s all over.
If you have any questions regarding this or similar topics, please feel free to ask. I will tell you what I think.
